Dear readers,
In light of the hot and steamy day’s ahead I feel obligated to continue on with some advice in regards to the summer months. A question was asked a few days ago in reference to the type of suit fabric that should be worn during the warmer/hotter months? So, here is the answer to my friend’s question: “The most comfortable fabric in extreme “hot or cold” weather is wool”. 100% pure wool is the most advisable source of fabric due to its ability to regulate the body temperature. Now, there are some wool fabrics woven very thickly. That would not be the correct choice. But, the tight and thin wool fabric that is called the (Super 100’s), would be the optimum choice. The Super 100’s drape very nicely, breathes easily, and stretches, thanks to the natural elasticity of the fibers. Because of the natural fibers the suit will resume its original shape from creases and normal wear just by hanging it up. Now, cotton and linen are nice fabrics as well, but they will not regain the nice natural shape like the wool fabric.
But, do not shy away from wool-blended fabrics. They can be nice and light as well.
We look forward to your comments. Have a great week.

Being able to own a fine custom tailored suit is a great experience. But, what do you need to do to extend the life of suit.
Here are some tips:
When you store your suits (especially the out-of-season suits), store them in airtight bags. This can add up to 5 years. Suit bag link: http://www.nextag.com/travel-suit-bag/search-html
Instead of always taking your suit to the cleaners a good investment for you would be to buy a suit brush. You need to brush your suit regularly to remove lint and hidden areas, such as: the armpits, and the rise area, which can attract moths. This can add 2 years. Link for suit brushes.

Wrinkles are never good on a suit or shirt. So, how do you get rid of them? Steaming your suit regularly to remove creases between annual dry cleaning is the best option. The easiest way is to let it hang in you bathroom while a hot shower or bath is running. Then let it hang dry for the night. Or, you can purchase a garment steamer if find yourself with less time. They even have travel garment steamers. Steamer link: http://www.JiffySteamer.com/Products/index.asp?steamerCatId=1
I hope these tips Suit you! Have a great week.
