D-Jones tip of the week 6/30/2009

This great tip comes from Esquire magazine.

Don’t dismiss the Pocket square! The pocket square is a great sub for the neck tie. Sure, you can wear both the neck tie/ bow tie with a pocket square because it complements it the neck wear well. But, if you opted to relax the neck wear for a day/evening, the pocket square is the way to go.

So, what color of pocket square should you have?

“A white pocket square goes with everything, or course, but for one that stands out and ages extraordinarily well, start with a silk square in a dark shade, or one that highlights a single color in your tie or shirt”.

So, who is a fan of pocket squares and why?
