We are stuck. The women in our lives are calling for an intervention. It’s not enough, anymore, to dress up for weddings and funerals. Women want more. And, we should give them more. We need to stop settling for jeans and a t-shirt. Stop settling for cargo shorts and flip-flops.
What we need is an intervention. We can be rugged and masculine without settling for a sweatshirt from an old sorority party and some beat up blue jeans. We don’t need to go to work with an old pair of dockers and a polo shirt. I’m not suggesting that being on the cutting edge of fashion is for everyone, but all of us men can certainly look in style and fashionable without sacrificing our manhood. Women like well-dressed men, so what are we waiting for?
Leave the sweatshirts for the gym and opt for a knitted sweater, or more specifically a Nordic knit sweater. And nothing gets a girl’s attention more than a well-placed accessory. For the fall, the ideal accessory is a scarf and a nice pair of leather gloves. For some unknown reason, men cringe at the thought of a scarf, but for a group as practical as we are, the scarf is a practical and fashionable option for fall weather. I keep the accessory colors solid and not too flashy. Chunky knit scarves are ideal.
The jacket for this Fall should be wool or tweed. Wool is much more traditional and tweed is a slightly more rugged option. One staple in my wardrobe is a navy wool blazer. I often pair this with a nice pair of jeans when I am dressing casually. For a cleaner and sharper image, always wear your dress shirt tucked in with a blazer or suit jacket!!
When I am hanging out with friends, I tend to wear a nice denim button up shirt. I even like to add a denim chambray shirt to a navy or khaki suit for an interesting twist in the Fall. Flannels are also a nice touch as well for the fall season.
And yes, the Fall season is 2 months away; but wardrobes are not created over night, so plan in advance.

Please, we need your vote!
Dear family, friends and fans,
I understand that some of you have been experiencing problems voting. Drew and I have not been able to vote since Thursday. But, this evening I believe I have unlocked the problem.
Due to the high amount of traffic that has been coming in and out to the voting site it has become jammed or incapable of reading your vote again. So, the solution to the problem is to go to your Internet server such as Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc and empty out the cache and cookies from the server. The location of the cookies/cache will be in your server’s system preferences or part of the drop down tab. Once you have removed these cookies/ cache then exit out or quit your server and allow a couple of minutes to go by, and then log back in. After you have done this you should be able to enter your vote. If not try again in the morning and it should be working.
We apologize for this inconvenience, and we appreciate all of you for your support. Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon, eliminating the extra trouble. Please continue to vote each day at the same time you did the previous day, and tell all your friends and family to please help out.
